I just purchased the Husqvarna DT22 to replace my old Blue Bird 18" dethatcher. Here are my thoughts:
Pros: I like the redesigned height control lift/lower mechanism. It has been beefed up and is easy to adjust. The wider design is great for productivity. The flail tines worked great, and didn't cost any extra over the spring tines, however, see below.
Cons: I couldn't afford the Honda GX, but the B&S has been fine. The unit I bought came with the spring tines, and they were about useless with moss and heavy thatch. Make sure you get the flail tines. Trust me.
